Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Vice President, Federal Growth & Business Development within our team. Please note that this position requires a commitment to full-time employment and is not open to contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a 3–5 year Growth Strategy aimed to diversify Voyatek’s client footprint across federal civil agencies and achieve double-digit YOY revenue growth
  • Define a Go-To-Market Plan that leverages Voyatek’s demonstrated past performance, outcomes delivered, capability offerings, and existing footprint across Federal, State & Local, and Higher Education domains
  • Identify target opportunities and bid strategies
  • Establish a sustainable, multi-year pipeline of qualified net-new opportunities
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships within government customers and proactively shape and position Voyatek as a preferred contractor
  • Cultivate new – and nurture existing – strategic partnerships
  • Capture new contract vehicles (e.g., GWACs, IDIQs, Agency-level BPAs), positioning Voyatek as a prime contractor through these new contractual pathways
  • Lead and contribute to the development of proposals, whitepapers, capability overviews, slick sheets, and related marketing materials
  • Oversee opportunity capture, teaming, pricing, solution development, and high-quality proposal submissions
  • Mentor and coach rising senior leaders and junior staff on how to effectively drive growth and business development (e.g., capture, shaping, pitch decks, proposal development)

Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience serving senior business development leadership roles within a management consulting firm
  • 15+ years of experience shaping and capturing complex IT, cyber, data, or analytics opportunities
  • Experience leading growth and business development for $100M+ federal civil business portfolios
  • Track record of scaling revenue, yielding double-digit YOY revenue growth
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, technology, or a related field preferred
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain relevant public trust or security clearance 

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual  range is $220,000.00-$300,000.00.

This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level  09 people leader in a Business Development position.
