Full time SEO Digital Marketing Specialist (Colombia)

Remote Position

The Role:

We are looking for a results-driven and highly analytical SEO Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our SEO strategy to increase organic search traffic, improve search engine rankings, local listings, and drive lead generation and conversions. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, digital content, and user experience, as well as a passion for analytics and continuous optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO).

  • Conduct thorough keyword research to guide content teams and identify new opportunities.

  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for organic search visibility.

  • Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content.

  • Monitor and improve page performance using Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, and site speed optimization.

  • Conduct technical audits to identify crawl errors, duplicate content, broken links, and other issues.

  • Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building strategies and partnerships.

Analytics and Performance Tracking:

  • Track, analyze, and report on website performance, rankings, traffic, and conversions using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and similar.

  • Set clear KPIs and benchmarks to measure SEO performance and ROI.

  • Generate regular performance reports and make data-driven recommendations.

Digital Marketing & Cross-Channel Support:

  • Collaborate with PPC and social media teams to ensure integrated campaign strategies.

  • Support email marketing, paid media, and other digital channels with SEO-informed content strategies.

  • Increase local listings rankings.

  • Monitor trends and emerging SEO technologies or algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and competitor performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing roles.

  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).

  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and website CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, etc.).

  • Experience with schema markup, robots.txt, sitemaps, and SEO plugins.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on measuring performance and ROI.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Google Analytics (GA4) and/or Google Ads certification.

  • Experience with international SEO or eCommerce platforms.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and how they impact SEO.

  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and how they relate to SEO.

  • Prior agency experience or working across multiple client verticals.
