Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Native Application Developer & Kubernetes Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building cloud-native Kubernetes applications and administration of Kubernetes clusters, particularly with RH OpenShift, in bare-metal environments.

 

Job Description

  • Collaborate with application development teams to deploy, scale, and manage cloud-native applications
  • Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and OpenShift platforms.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance and reliability.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm).
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance standards within the clusters.

 

Skills Required

  • Requires minimum 5 years of job-related work experience in excess of degree requirements
  • Proven experience developing and deploying cloud-native Kubernetes applications.
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
  • Linux administration skills (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters (bare metal and/or public cloud environments).
  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security within Kubernetes.

 

Education/Certification/Training

  • Bachelor's Degree : Computer Science or related field (Required)
  • Or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required

 

Pay rate

  • $65- $76 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
