About the Role

As National Manager Indigenous Engagement & Inclusion, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the organisation’s Indigenous Engagement & Inclusion framework. This senior leadership position provides strategic guidance, thought leadership, and innovative solutions to drive meaningful change and foster a culture of respect and accountability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and leadership on Indigenous engagement and inclusion across all business sectors.
  • Coach senior leaders to embed culturally safe practices and improve Indigenous engagement outcomes.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain diverse First Nations talent.
  • Lead key initiatives including Reconciliation Action Plans (RAP), DE\&I Strategy, and Goolyara Bidi.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance Indigenous engagement initiatives.
  • Report on progress and impact of Indigenous engagement programs.

 

About you

  • Degree in HR, Business, or related field OR 5+ years’ experience in DE\&I and Indigenous engagement.
  • Proven ability to provide high-level advice to senior leaders.
  • Strong project management and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to create inclusive workplace environments and influence without direct authority.
