Project Manager - Civil Construction
Position Scope
The Project Manager is available at our offices in Le Center, MN and/or St. Michael, MN. This position will include management of projects in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan area and may also include management (from Minnesota) of our projects throughout the United States.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide Support to Project Engineer’s and Project Staff
- Report Project Progress and Budget to Executive Team
- Build Relationships and Communicate with Clients and Project Stakeholders
- Serve as Project Representative at Client Meetings, Job Walks and Project Reviews
- Provide Monthly Billings and Process Change Orders
- Process Subcontractor Pay Vouchers and Review and Approve Supplier Invoices
- Build Relationships with Jobsite Personnel, Clients, Subcontractors, and Suppliers
- Perform other Duties as Assigned
- Identify Critical Work Items
- Procure Long-Lead Items
- Resolve Field, Subcontractor, & Supplier Issues
- Manage Document Control, Submittals Schedules, and Contract Documents
- Monitor Quality Control
- Oversee Project Safety and Environmental Requirements
- Perform other Duties as Assigned
- Travel to Project Sites as Needed
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Equivalent Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Field Engineer in Civil Construction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Knowledge of Primavera or Microsoft Project Desired
- Possess Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Have a Positive Attitude and Excellent Self-Motivational Skills
- Ability to Perform under Schedule Restraints
- Be Highly Detail-Oriented
- Have Exceptional Time Management Skills
- Have a valid Driver’s License
Work Environment
- Office-based in Le Center and/or St. Michael
- Travel as needed (Midwest)
