Position Scope
The Level 3 Apprentice performs increasingly complex electrical installations while developing leadership skills. This employee requires only occasional supervision and is expected to understand project sequencing and quality standards.
Location & Travel: This role offers nationwide opportunities based on project needs, with project assignments typically lasting between 4 to 10 months. In addition to your hourly pay, you’ll receive a daily per diem to assist with living expenses while on assignment.

Our CE&I Division delivers integrated controls, electrical, and instrumentation solutions for industrial and mission-critical infrastructure projects. From utility interconnects through final terminations, our CE&I Division supports data centers, water and wastewater treatment facilities, natural gas facilities, and industrial process environments with safe, reliable, and execution-focused delivery.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Install complete branch circuits.
- Install and terminate panels and equipment.
- Perform conduit layout and advanced conduit bending.
- Read and interpret complex electrical drawings.
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Install lighting control systems.
- Coordinate work with other trades.
- Mentor Level 1 apprentices.
- Perform quality control on completed work.
Education and Work Experience
- May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must possess working knowledge, including a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and blueprint interpretation.
- Must possess skills and abilities for position, including advanced conduit installation, troubleshooting fundamentals, material planning and good organizational skills.
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
