Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Tester (QA)  within our team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Tester Expert acting as QA tester will lead testing efforts for WCB applications\Projects P4 ecae\CIS modernization, P2 eforms, P5 - ECR\ORPS Modernization to uncover and investigate defects, identify root causes, generate reports and share with WCB ITS Business solutions and other stake holders. Assess the overall quality of application by performing manual, automated, performance tests using various QA tools. 

•Create and maintain Test plans, Test strategy documents, Test scripts, Tests, Test scenarios, Test matrices for WCB Applications
•Perform Test and Defect Management using tools like HP ALM and or JIRA
•Assist and provide QA activities through all phases of the system development life cycle and ensure Testing milestones and dates are met.
•Perform Test execution & Analyzing Test results and Reporting.
•Estimate test effort for projects and provide estimations. Plan to ensure testing milestones and dates are met.
•Create and execute automated test cases and suites for Functional and Regression testing based on software requirements using automated tool such as UFT (Unified Functional Testing) Selenium software for multiple applications using automated frameworks.
•Perform back-end Testing, Data Validation, Data Analysis, Data migration and execute SQL queries.
•Perform integration Testing and running automation suites with CI/CD tools
•Perform Web services testing using SOAP UI /Postman API testing tools and REST API using Rest assured /Java 
•Hands on with JMeter or LoadRunner performance or Neo load  tools. Create Performance Test plans, Test scripts, Test data for performance Testing. Review bottle necks, baseline and scalability.
•Develop automation scripts for native Mobile applications using Appium. 
•Perform Accessibility Testing using Accessibility Testing tools to test documents and WCB applications for ADA section 508 and WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliance.
•Perform script updates and maintenance using programming languages like Java, VB and J script

 

 

Qualifications:

  • ·         84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ·         84 Months of experience in creating and executing automated test scripts and suites for functional and regression testing using automated tools such as Selenium and Cypress for multiple applications using automated frameworks.                                            
  • ·         84 Months of experience performing load testing using JMeter or LoadRunner or Neo load performance tools. Experienced in creating and maintaining Performance Test plans, Test scripts, Test data for performance testing, review bottle necks, baseline, and scalability.                                  
  • ·         72 Months of Experience in ETL Testing, Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading, Data Validation, Data Quality Assurance, Performance Testing, SQL Querying, and ETL Automation.                                 
  • ·         36 Months of experience performing Web services testing using SOAP UI /Postman API testing tools & REST assured.                                 
  • ·         36 Months of experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts & Manage defects using tools such as HP ALM or JIRA.              
  • ·         24 Months experience as a QA team lead with expertise in handling multiple projects simultaneously.                                               
  • ·         Requested Documentation: Copy of Resume, Degree certificate and Any Professional Certificate (ISQTB, ASQTB, Testing tools etc.)

 

 

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the hourly  range is $42.00 - $45.00.
