Gatwick, UK  - Full Time

£75,000

With a newly acquired UK AOC Ascend Airways are operating a fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) in the ACMI market, opening its first operational base at London Gatwick in early 2024. The company is part of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) provider, operating a fleet of 221 aircraft on 6 continents.

Requirements: 

  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom
  • UK/ EASA Class One medical certificate without restrictions (other than for spectacles/contact lenses)
  • Willing to maintain a home address within 90 minutes travelling time of London Gatwick
  • UK CAA ATPL(A) or (f)ATPL(A) with Boeing 737 type rating either current or expired by no more than two years
  • A minimum of 1,500 hours in total with either:

- 500 hours on B737
- or 1500 hours on jet a/c >60 tonnes max takeoff weight 

or 1000 hours Captain in any multi pilot Commercial Air Transport operation

Salary & Remunerations: 

  • £ 75,000 gross per annum (Basic salary)
  • 4.5% pension (on base salary)
  • £13.30 flight pay per block hour
  • Per diems while away from base
  • A minimum of 10 days off per month
  • 42 days annual leave
  • A maximum of eight days’ leave between 1 June and 15 September  
  • Parking at your base paid by the Company.
  • Medical renewals paid by the Company.
  • 3 ‘golden days’ per year, on which you will be rostered days off at your home base
  • Loss of license insurance
