Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Training Coordinator CSR to manage craft training schedules, maintain NCCER accreditation, and ensure compliance with apprenticeship and safety programs. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant training experience, is proficient in Microsoft Office, and bilingual (Spanish/English) is highly preferred.

 

Job Description

  • Responsible for scheduling and tracking all craft training & assisting with professional development when necessary.
  • Maintain NCCER Accreditation by ensuring the company follows all proper processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with field and craft recruiters to assist with onboarding craft employees.
  • Schedule all required training for craft employees with the Houston Area Safety Council
  • Partner with the Department of Labor to ensure Company is meeting the requirements of apprenticeship programs.
  • Responsible for updating the Department of Labor RAPID website for apprenticeship programs.
  • Administer and proctor all apprenticeship classification computer exams.
  • Administer, monitor, and report all Company required safety training for partnered projects.
  • Administer and monitor all Heavy Equipment Company specific training as needed.
  • Assist with organizing the Craft Leadership Boot Camps
  • Identify methods of improvement regarding the Training Departments scheduling and tracking processes.
  • Responsible for taking professional notes and minutes in all appropriate committee meetings.
  • Monitor and ensure all Company craft employees are in compliance with required safety training (ex:  Basic Plus, Company Specific, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 years of training experience in a related industry required.
  • Familiarity with industrial craft positions and certifications.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Overtime is anticipated for this role.
  • Candidate needs to pass drug screening.

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Base Compensation: $20.00/hour - $22.00/hour (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
