Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Planner to join our team in Mukilteo, WA. This position plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by managing the flow of custom parts from design through delivery. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, machinists, and external suppliers to ensure parts are delivered on time, at a reasonable cost, and to the required specifications.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role requiring strong communication skills, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within our ERP system and Microsoft Office tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review engineering prints and initiate manufacturing plans
  • Coordinate vendor quotes for custom-machined parts
  • Generate and monitor purchase orders for quality and timeliness
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to clarify specifications and resolve issues
  • Track part status in ERP and CAD systems and ensure accurate reference data
  • Maintain production schedules and proactively follow up on outstanding items

Qualifications:

  • Experience in machine shop operations, manufacturing planning, or supply chain
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
  • Familiarity with ERP software and CAD systems (training available for qualified candidates)
  • Successful completion of Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Positive references and demonstrated reliability
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional overtime or after-hours work may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: $20 - $28 per hour DOE
