Job description:

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects across various domains, including IT, product development, and organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong background in project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and Kanban. This role offers an opportunity to oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful outcomes.

Duties

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management from requirements gathering through implementation and closure.
  • Develop detailed project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Trello, and Project Server.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively using budgeting and time management techniques.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and manage vendor performance to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Facilitate risk management activities by identifying potential issues early and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation efforts.
  • Utilize tools like SharePoint, ServiceNow, Workday, Basecamp, and Visio for documentation, collaboration, and reporting purposes.
  • Conduct data analysis and data collection to inform decision-making processes.
  • Communicate project status clearly through presentations and reports to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies including PMBOK standards and best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Support product management activities related to product development and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile (Scrum), SAFe, Waterfall, Kanban, and program management frameworks.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Trello, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Visio, Project Server, Workday, Basecamp.
  • Strong vendor management skills with the ability to negotiate contracts and manage relationships effectively.
  • Experience in risk management and quality management processes within complex projects.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is preferred; knowledge of SAS for data analysis is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on requirements gathering and requirements management processes.
  • Ability to manage budgets efficiently while ensuring project scope is maintained within constraints.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT project management including product development initiatives.
