  • Interpret aerospace technical specifications and requirements to develop compliant and effective design solutions.
  • Provide engineering support to production operations across Bombardier multi‑platform aircraft programs, including Challenger 350/650 and Global 5500/6500/7500.
  • Analyze, understand, and resolve airframe and systems integration issues, providing technical support to multi‑site assembly lines (Querétaro, Dorval, Toronto).
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams such as Stress, Materials & Processes, Systems, Flight Sciences, Design, Methods, Quality, and Operations to meet business objectives.
  • Participate in projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and improving overall financial performance.
  • Plan, monitor, and meet project schedule commitments while respecting allocated budgets.
  • Work within dynamic, multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality results.
  • Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to support manufacturing activities as required.
  • Support the manufacturing, assembly, and installation phases by actively following your designs through to completion.

How to thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, or technical equivalency with twelve (12) or more years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 design and modeling tools.
  • Solid expertise in aircraft structural and systems installation design.
  • Extensive experience in machined and sheet metal parts design and fabrication.
  • Strong sense of responsibility with sound practical and technical judgment, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, dynamism, and strong listening skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet design deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
