Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and articulate Supply Chain Program Manager to support the launch of a new aerospace program. This role is critical to ensuring the successful introduction of new parts and materials required for the initial builds of a next-generation aircraft. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain operations, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally with internal leadership and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the supply chain portion of a new program introduction, with a focus on first build readiness.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering, planning, and logistics teams to ensure parts are sourced, qualified, and delivered on time.
- Serve as the primary supply chain interface for internal stakeholders and OEM leadership.
- Deliver clear and concise program updates and presentations to senior management.
- Monitor and manage supplier readiness, driving accountability and recovery plans as needed.
- Support risk mitigation strategies and implement corrective actions to address potential delays or issues.
- Maintain detailed program timelines, part tracking, and documentation throughout all stages of the project.
- Travel as required to supplier sites or customer meetings.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
- Proven experience managing supply chain activities within aerospace or a similarly complex manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success supporting new program introductions and first article builds.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead meetings and present to executive-level stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Experience working directly with suppliers to ensure readiness and alignment with build schedules.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain best practices.
