Senior Liaison Engineer (Onsite )– Completion Center)

Location: Global Completion Centre (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Language: English required; French is an asset

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Liaison Engineer to support a high-paced aircraft completion environment, responsible for resolving complex structural and non-conformance issues on business aircraft. This role plays a key part in ensuring aircraft meet design intent, certification requirements, and customer expectations throughout completion, flight testing, and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as part of the Material Review Board (MRB) to evaluate and disposition non-conformances on Global 5500/6500/7500 aircraft.
  • Investigate and resolve structural, cabin, and system-related discrepancies identified during completion and testing activities.
  • Provide real-time technical support to Operations, Methods, and Quality teams.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and aircraft manuals to ensure compliance with design intent.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering groups (Stress, Flight Sciences, Systems, Flammability, etc.) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Engage with external vendors on components outside of design authority.
  • Support repair design and disposition activities to restore structural integrity within production timelines.
  • Participate in cross-site Liaison Engineering collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the Product Integrity Committee and proactively consider end-customer requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant aerospace experience (higher level candidates considered for PA5).
  • Experience with MRB or non-conformance dispositioning in aerospace is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Aircraft structures (metallic & composite)
    • Cabin interiors and system installation
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications in a production environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or completion environment.
  • Familiarity with CATIA V5 for engineering mock-ups is preferred.
  • Eligibility or willingness to obtain MRB delegation.
