The Role:

We’re seeking a Mid-level BI Analyst. This role is designed for a professional focused on maintaining, extending, and enhancing existing reporting and data models, primarily within Power BI.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, scalable, and business-ready reporting that supports decision-making across teams.

Location: Must be in Colombia – Remote.

Environment: Colombian and International Teams.

Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).

Timezone: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.

Contract: Non-fixed Term Colombian Contract.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Proven experience working with Power BI for reporting and dashboard development, and SQL for data manipulation and reporting support.
• Skills:

1. SQL: Intermediate proficiency (maintaining and modifying existing views, building intermediate logic as needed).
2. Power BI: Strong experience with data modeling, table relationships, and dashboard/report development.
3. DAX: Working knowledge to support accurate and scalable reporting.
4. Data Visualization: Ability to translate defined requirements into intuitive, business-ready dashboards.
5. Python & ETL: Preferred but not required; exposure is a plus.

• Characteristics: Detail-oriented, collaborative, comfortable executing against clearly defined requirements, and proactive in refining reports and visuals with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Modify and extend SQL views to support reporting needs, particularly for marketing analytics.
• Ensure reporting accuracy through proper Power BI data modeling and DAX logic.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to refine metrics, visuals, and outputs.
• Communicate effectively with international teams via meetings, email, and Teams chat, escalating architectural decisions when required.
