The Role:
We’re seeking a Land Transaction Assistant to support the management of real estate transactions from execution to closing. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and approaches challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring that every step of the transaction process is completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with company, legal, and industry requirements.

Requirements:
Education: Degree or technical studies in Business Administration, Real Estate, Law, or related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in real estate transactions, escrow, title, or a related area.

Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong data entry and management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare internal transaction and closing documents such as closing statements, wire requests, and feasibility memos.
  • Track all critical dates and contractual deadlines, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
  • Maintain data integrity by ensuring accurate deal and transaction information to support reporting.
  • Organize and maintain complete transaction files in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare and submit Architectural Review Requests for applicable projects and home builds.
  • Draft documents using company templates to meet local and state requirements (e.g., public offering statements, disclosures, community summaries).
  • Monitor earnest money deposits, contingencies, and closing documentation; send out notices and key communications.
  • Support due diligence processes, administrative tasks, acquisition efforts, and entitlement coordination as needed.
  • Prepare transaction summaries and status reports for leadership.
  • Assist with process improvements to streamline contract and closing operations.
  • Contribute to a culture of efficiency, professionalism, and accountability.
