Job Summary

Job Description

• Perform agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation.
• Perform agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation.
• Maintain greenhouse plants and assist with plant care.
• Keep laboratory organized and maintain proper lab practices.
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines for experiments.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Skills Required

• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated.
• Familiarity with tissue culture and sterile techniques (preferred).
• Experience with germplasm handling and agrobacterium-based corn transformation (preferred).

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in plant biology, plant breeding, or microbiology.

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background checks
• Work Shift: 08:30 AM
• Willing to work occasionally early mornings and late evenings, Monday through Friday.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $27.21 to $35.21 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
