Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Senior Data Engineer. The Office of Ambulatory Care is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Innovation Lab. The Lab’s mission is to (1) assist and empower clinical sites and central office in evaluating the efficacy of interventions (such as new programs, technologies, or operational changes) to improve access to and quality of Ambulatory Care and (2) to amplify the work and learnings of innovations at Client via dissemination of evaluation learnings inside and outside of the health system to promote a culture of improvement and learning and establish as a leader in advancing health services delivery.

Job Description

  • Collaborate on the design of evaluation procedures and perform data analysis for evaluation of Ambulatory Care interventions
  • Participate in the development of study protocols and criteria for evaluation
  • Manage data from the data warehouse and other system resources
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of scholarly products (such as manuscripts, posters, presentations, etc)
  • Assist with ongoing data and analytic needs for special-initiative (e.g. NYC Care) research
  • Assist with other Innovation Lab directives as needed

 

Skills Required

  • Biostatistics (including descriptive, bivariate, and multivariate analyses)
  • Study design (including observational and interventional studies)
  • Literature review
  • Scientific/scholarly writing
  • At least one statistical software (Stata, SAS, R, Python, etc.)
  • SQL
  • Microsoft Excel

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Preferred degrees: Public Health, Biostatistics/Statistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Health Services Research, Program Evaluation, or related disciplines.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Shift Time: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; Monday - Friday

 

 Pay Rate

  • $68.00 per hour
