Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Radiologic Technologist. You will provide oversight to staff and workflow in the radiology department. The radiographer level Ill is responsible for supervisory, administrative, and clinical activity of varying degrees of latitude for independent judgement involving day-to-day operation of radiology services.

 

Job Description

  • Coordinate and provide operating oversight to radiographers and ancillary staff assigned to the radiology department and operating room.
  • Coordinate services within the radiology department and between departments across the facility.
  • Supervise and participate in the clinical training of staff and students.
  • Coordinate the development of the of staff in radiology including modality training 5) Staff scheduling and assignments throughout radiology.
  • Quality Assurance testing and record keeping for equipment in radiology.
  • Attend departmental and interdepartmental meetings.
  • May perform radiographic routine and Special procedures as required.
  • Evaluate staff performance in accordance with HR recommendations.
  • Compile documents for staff progressive discipline as needed.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement projects in radiology.
  • Recommend process improvements related to the delivery of imaging services.
  • Perform other duties as needed throughout the radiology department.

 

Skills Required

  • 1-year General Radiographer experience.
  • Trauma and OR experience preferred.
  • Equipment: Carestream Revolution DXR Portable, GE Discovery 650, GE Definium 656, GE Precision 600 R&F, Philips Digital Diagnost, Philips Juno R&F, Siemens Luminos R&F, OEC Elite c-arms, Siemens Cios Alpha C-arms

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH required.
  • BLS preferred.
  • Radiographer
  • Radiologic Technologist

 

Additional Requirements

  • Adhere to company guidelines regarding COVID compliance.
  • Malpractice Insurance - All clinical workers are required to have active individual Medical Malpractice.  A copy must be provided prior to start of assignment. All clinical workers licensed by the state of NY are required to provide.
  • Day Shift: 9am-5pm

 

 Pay Rate

  • $62.50 per hour
