Our client is a global manufacturer and distributes products to the oil and natural gas industry in the US and internationally and is headquartered in Houston.
Job Summary
Receives inventory from other Forum plants and tools from field locations. Places inventory in its approved location and processes returned tools following standard return protocols. Prepares and loads customer orders based on demand. Refurbishes customer-owned inventory using hand/power tools. Performs periodic inventory counts. Junior-level positions often perform repetitive tasks following established company procedures, and work under direct supervision, with decisions reviewed/made with senior personnel.
Job Description
- Perform work professionally and safely, report unsafe work practices
- Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the department supervisor/manager
- Receives inventory and loads orders based on customer needs
- Maintains inventories, completes records, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment
- Performs other duties and activities as directed
- Weekend on-call flexibility
- Ability to safely use hand tools to clean/refurbish tools
- Other duties as assigned

Skills Required
- Forklift experience
- Entry level to 6+ months of related experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and e-mails
- Possess basic written communication skills
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math
- Basic PS skills (e-mail, spreadsheets, etc)
- The ability to change between tasks
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Additional Requirements
- Shift Hours: 8:00 am -4:30 (30 min lunch) M-F
- Warehouse workers are required to be available around the clock 24/7 (On-Call)
- Weekend and OT hours: Warehouse employees can typically expect to work about 50 hours a week. Hours beyond that are available, but not expected
