Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Digital Signal Processing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize DSP algorithms for applications in audio, video, speech, and wireless communications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in time and frequency domain analysis, advanced Python skills, and experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Job Description

• Design and develop signal processing algorithms for audio, video, speech, and wireless communication applications
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate DSP software into overall system architecture
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of DSP algorithms to ensure efficient operation in real-world environments
• Implement and test DSP algorithms on target hardware platforms
• Participate in code review and provide technical assistance to other team members
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of DSP

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Digital Signal Processing
• Time and Frequency Domain Analysis
• Advanced Python Skills
• C/C++ is a plus
• Industry experience

Education/Training/Certifications

• MSEE with 3-5 years’ experience or BSEE with 5+ years’ experience and is even willing to look at fresh undergrads from prestigious universities. Computer/Software Engineering Degree equivalents to Electrical Engineering. Mentioned that it is old technology so there is no need for a PhD.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Base Compensation: $75k/year to $85k/year (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
