Our client is a full-service renewable natural gas ("RNG") platform founded by a veteran renewable natural gas management team. The company is developing a platform to build, own and operate RNG assets with landfill, dairy, and food waste feedstocks across North America.

 

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer with 10+ years of experience in power system design, MCCs, and switchgear. The ideal candidate will work independently to design, implement, and maintain electrical infrastructure, with a preference for experience in Renewable Natural Gas projects.

 

Job Description

  • Designing and implementing systems and circuits for power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • Performing reliability analysis and upgrading power system equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards and regulations.
  • Conducting research and development to innovate and improve efficiency.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborating with other engineers and professionals on projects, including architects, civil engineers, and energy consultants.
  • Supervising the installation of electrical equipment and systems to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.

 

Skills Required

  • 10+ years in electrical power design
  • MCC and Switchgear experience
  • Some experience with instruments and controls interfaces
  • Strong independent engineer with experience in Renewable Natural Gas preferred.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • BS EE required

 

Additional Requirements

  • 50/50 remote, travel to Engineering office in Pittsburgh
  • Travel Expenses to Pittsburgh covered
