Job Summary

Our Client is looking for an E&I Designer who will be responsible in development of block diagrams, one lines, P&ID’s, elevations, plan views, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, junction block details, BOM’s, design cable schedules, and revisions on as builds.

 

Job Description

  • Development of block diagrams, one lines, P&ID’s, elevations, plan views, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, junction block details, BOM’s, design cable schedules, and revisions on as builds.
  • Assists in project design development
  • May interface with clients
  • Tracks, organizes, prioritizes, and coordinates design team efforts

 

Skills Required

  • Candidate must have a midstream experience
  • Proficient with computers and CAD software packages
  • Must understand, communicate and apply engineering concepts
  • Proficient at 3D model development
  • Experience researching manufacturer technical data
  • Communicate with manufacturers, clients, and other engineers as required
  • Must be a team player and be able to prioritize workload
  • Three to five years of drafting experience and eight-plus years of design experience
  • CAD (AutoCAD) proficiency; certification is a plus
  • CADWorx experience a plus
  • MicroStation experience has more
  • AutoLISP or Visual Basic programming experience a plus.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college or formal related technical courses preferred
