Job Description

  • Responsible for logistics of the actual operation support of the Marine, HSE, drilling and Aviation etc.
  • Works with Procurement to develop a method to contract an outside organization to provide logistical support for materials which includes Receiving, Warehousing, Tracking, Loading out material on support vessels and Offloading at the operations site.
  • Works with Project team and Procurement to ensure project stay on schedule and meets required peer and risk reviews.
  • Works closely with other internal and external team members to maximize logistical support sharing opportunities.
  • Works with Aviation and Procurement to optimize both helicopter and fixed wing transportation.
  • Ensures all logistical support activities follow proper company process and control.
  • Provides expertise for remote, onshore and offshore logistics including marine support commissioning, material transfer and start up procedures.
  • Participates in emergency preparedness doctrine, training and drills.

 

Skills Required

  • Intermediate level, typically 3-5 years of experience.
  • Moving towards full competency.
  • Requires a broader, general understanding of discipline.
  • Identifies problems and develops potential solutions.
  • Makes decisions within well defined parameters.

 

 Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School degree or GED
