Job Summary

Our client is currently looking for new members to join our van upfit/installation team. As an installer/upfitter, you will play an important role in the van installation process.

Job Description

• Assemble and install van equipment including but not limited to: shelving, ladder racks, partitions, drawer units, storage systems, receiver hitches, running boards, and various accessories
• Install equipment according to written and verbal directions
• Use hand and power tools and equipment safely
• Work with the upfit/installation team to meet job deadlines
• Understand all product line parts and accessories
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Required

• Must have welding experience
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Installation/Upfit experience (preferred but not required)
• Assembly experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to complete upfit/installation processes
• Detail oriented
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Ability to meet deadlines

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent

Additional Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Weekends are not required but may be requested depending on business needs

Pay Rate/Salary

• $19.00/hr.
