Our client is a global manufacturer headquartered in Houston that distributes products to the oil and natural gas industry in the US and internationally.
Job Summary
Responsibilities for this role include spooling, visual inspection, installation, and packaging coiled tubing for domestic and international shipments. Working in small teams, spooling technicians utilize proprietary spooling equipment to execute tasks for internal and external customers while interacting with operational departments throughout Global Tubing.
Job Description
- Perform work professionally and safely, report unsafe work practices
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
- Gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Assemble parts and spool equipment as instructed
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Other duties as assigned

Skills Required
- 0-1 year of experience
- Know safe work practices
- Ability to read and understand training materials and work instructions
- Have physical strength and ability to perform moderate to heavy-duty manual labor
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Additional Requirements
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- Shift Hours: 7:00 am or 8:00 am until completed. Many times staying after 5:00 pm until work is completed. May be asked to come in as early as 6:00 am depending on production needs. Eligible for OT after 40 hours worked per week. After-hours and weekend work may be necessary.
