Job Summary

The candidate will review production schedules, inspect field conditions, and perform heat treatment according to standard procedures. They will identify potential safety hazards, conduct inspections, and prepare reports, ensuring compliance and cost-saving measures. Relocation to project sites in Ingleside may be required.

 

Job Description

  • Read production schedules and work orders to determine sequences
  • Identify a correct all potential safety and hazards.
  • Read and understand plans and specifications.
  • Visualize two-dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
  • Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.
  • Observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation or replacement.
  • Perform inspections and tests and prepare reports as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform Heat Treatment in accordance with standard procedures.

 

Skills Required

  • Must have working knowledge of AWS D10.10 as well as PRHT and PWHT equipment and procedures

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High school diploma

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to relocate temporarily or for a longer term period to project sites in Ingleside
