Job Summary

The Production Line Worker plays a critical role in supporting various tasks within a water filtration site. This includes the regeneration of ionic resin beads and carbon media production. The position involves physical labor, equipment operation, and strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure smooth production operations.

 

Job Description

  • Dump and fill media while recording serial numbers on batch records (basic computer knowledge required).
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties as required.
  • Operate a forklift and electric panel (mandatory skill).
  • Pick orders and load materials into delivery trailers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by following Lean Manufacturing Principles (5S, single-piece flow, Kanban, etc.).
  • Follow established safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
  • Conduct self-inspections of products to ensure quality and quantity standards are met.
  • Perform additional duties as needed based on organizational requirements.
  • Safety glasses and gloves (provided by the site), steel-toe boots.
  • This position involves physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working with industrial materials.
  • Shift Schedule: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

 

Skills Required

  • Forklift operation and electrical pallet experience (required).
  • Knowledge of 5S methodology and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending and heavy lifting.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing and/or production experience preferred.
