Overview

We're looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoys taking on complex, high-impact challenges. We work across a suite of modern SaaS products, focusing on core infrastructure, shared services, and strategic initiatives that shape how software is built and delivered across the company.

Success in this role requires strong communication and leadership skills. Youʼll run standups, demos, and retros, and often serve as the technical voice in cross-functional conversations, including with senior stakeholders and executives. Youʼll be trusted to clearly articulate trade-offs, guide decision-making, and drive progress across teams.

We use a Kanban-style agile process that emphasizes flexibility, ownership, and rapid iteration. Our

engineers work closely with product and design to prioritize business-critical work, solve meaningful

problems, and continuously improve our architecture and development practices.

Remote work experience is essential, as our team is fully distributed.

What We Work On

We focus on strategic, high-impact initiatives that move the business forward. Our projects are often cross-functional and foundational—building shared services, platforms, and integrations that power other product teams.

Youʼll have the opportunity to:

  • Design and own core services that are used across a suite of SaaS products.
  • Implement AI-driven features and automation tools that unlock new workflows.
  • Work closely with product leaders to define technical strategies that support long-term goals.
  • Experiment with new patterns and technologies, especially in the AI/LLM space.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
  • Expertise in Node.js or Elixir, or a strong interest in learning either.
  • Experience with cloud services (preferably Azure, but AWS is also valued).
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects, mentor team members, and foster collaboration.
  • Experience in developing, documenting, and integrating APIs.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
  • Familiarity with predictive models or traditional AI techniques.
  • Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLMs, and vector databases.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Knowledge of Azure API Management, Application Insights, and Power BI.
  • Proficiency with Postgres and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • Familiarity with Nx for monorepo management.
  • Strong automated testing experience throughout the development cycle.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and React.
  • Experience with Phoenix LiveView.

Additional Details

  • Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable.
