Who we are looking for:

Are you excited by challenges?  Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, international and dynamic environment?  Then now is the time to join Quorum Software, a rapidly growing company and industry leader in oil & gas transformation.

Job Purpose

We're looking for a high-energy, versatile QA Engineer who doesn't just execute test cases — they drive quality. You'll be joining a team that works across a broad and evolving tech stack, takes on new initiatives, and moves fast. If you're someone who speaks up, jumps in, and thrives in dynamic environments, this role is for you.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) — this is your primary focus.
  • Own end-to-end testing activities across features and releases — without waiting to be told what to do.
  • Actively participate in and drive bug triages — advocate for quality, prioritize defects with business context, and push for timely resolution.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to and eventually drive QA initiatives — not just execute them.
  • Leverage and explore AI-powered tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, self-healing frameworks) to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Understand the urgency behind releases and escalations — respond with speed and clarity.
  • Collaborate confidently with developers, product managers, and stakeholders; communicate test status, risks, and blockers proactively.
  • And other duties as assigned.

What to Bring:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
  • Strong proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and Java — UI automation is the core of this role.
  • Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of the QA lifecycle, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and bug advocacy.
  • Exposure to AI tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot in a testing or development context — or a strong eagerness to adopt them.
  • Confident communicator — able to present clearly in team discussions, bug triages, and stakeholder conversations.

Beyond the tech skills, we need someone who is:

  • A self-starter — sees what needs to be done and does it, without waiting for direction.
  • Confident in communication — speaks up in meetings, flags risks early, and represents QA with conviction.
  • An eager learner — our stack is growing (Selenium, Java, JMeter, Claude, Copilot) and so should you.
  • Initiative-driven — we have new QA initiatives in motion and need someone who can co-own and execute them.
  • Adaptable — willing to jump in wherever the team needs, no task is too big or too small.
  • Urgency-aware — understands when something is critical and responds accordingly.

Good to Have

  • Experience with API testing — manual and/or automated (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
  • Experience with mobile testing — manual and/or automated.
  • Hands-on with performance testing using JMeter.
  • Experience with AI-powered testing
  • Prior experience co-leading or driving QA initiatives within a team.
