Overview

We seek an Intern to work in our Global Services consulting team delivering our Energy Components software to our customers in Australia and globally.

Responsibilities

• Participate in workshops with customers, for the purpose of analyzing and gathering user requirements and documenting business processes
• Designing and implementing/configuring Energy Components solutions to meet customer business requirements
• Implementing/configuring software solutions supporting the value chain from reservoir to revenue recognition. 
• Provide technical and functional support to customers
• Testing and verification against business processes requirements
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Petroleum Technology / or similar
• Knowledge of database modelling and programming, preferably Oracle (PL/SQL)
• Experience in programming, preferably Java
• Knowledge in business process modelling and requirement analysis
• Excellent communication skills, and fluent in English, both written and verbal 

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge in Oil & Gas value chain, from reservoir to revenue recognition
• Additional Technical Competencies such as:  
  • Java backend/frontend programming
  • Oracle database modelling and PL/SQL programming
  • Containers – Docker
  • App Server / Web Container – WildFly
  • Cloud solutions – Azure and Amazon Web Services
  • REST API's
  • PowerBI or similar business analytic tool is a bonus

• Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with stakeholders on all levels
• Enjoy working with various tasks like; requirement specifications, software development, configuration of existing software, infrastructure setup incl. cloud-based solutions, testing and customer training and support
• Have a positive attitude

• Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Australia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
