The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced and visionary Transformation Director to lead the planning, mobilisation, and delivery of our global transformation strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role will ensure that all integration activities, strategic initiatives, and change programmes are executed to the highest standard.

You’ll drive alignment between strategic goals and operational delivery, enabling the organisation to realise synergies, manage change effectively, and build a future-ready enterprise. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of our transformation journey.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Transformation Leadership

  • Develop and execute the global transformation strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Translate strategic objectives into a transformation roadmap with clear milestones and KPIs.
  • Ensure effective integration activities that capture synergies and minimise disruption.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align transformation priorities with company vision.
  • Foster cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to drive success and shared outcomes.
  • Build structured communication channels and shared KPIs across regions.
  • Inspire teams and promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.

 

Change Management & Culture

  • Act as a key ambassador for transformation, engaging senior stakeholders to maintain commitment.
  • Champion cultural integration and employee engagement throughout change programmes.
  • Partner with HR, Communications, and Business Office teams to drive adoption of new processes and behaviours.
  • Ensure transparent communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels.
  • Lead effective integration of merging entities with minimal disruption and maximum synergy.

 

Leadership Governance

  • Establish and chair transformation governance forums to oversee performance and manage risk.
  • Provide strategic oversight of investment cases, project evaluations, and risk assessments.
  • Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to track synergies, savings, and long-term value creation.
  • Ensure consistent governance and PMO standards across global and regional teams.

 

Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Identify and mitigate transformation risks, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards.
  • Implement robust controls to maintain business continuity and quality assurance.

 

Technology & Digital Enablement

  • Partner with the Chief Product & Technology Officer to align digital initiatives with transformation goals.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making through enhanced analytics capabilities.

 

PMO Leadership & Mobilisation

  • Establish and lead a high-performing PMO to deliver strategic programmes on time and within budget.
  • Define and embed PMO standards, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and capability development across PMO teams.

 

Project & Programme Delivery

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of global strategic change programmes.
  • Ensure alignment of projects with business priorities and expected outcomes.
  • Monitor progress, manage interdependencies, and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Ensure initiatives are supported by strong business cases with clear ROI and benefits realisation.

 

About You

Experience & Skills

  • Proven success in leading complex, multi-year global transformation programmes (e.g. post-merger integrations, digital transformation, operating model redesigns).
  • Experience translating strategy into actionable roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
  • Extensive background in setting up and leading global PMOs or transformation offices.
  • Skilled in project delivery frameworks (Agile, PRINCE2, PMI, or hybrid approaches).
  • Strong governance, risk management, and benefits realisation expertise.
  • Experience leading organisational change with significant people, process, and technology impacts.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in building business cases and tracking ROI.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive influence across global teams.
  • Experience in global organisations, with an understanding of regional and cultural nuances.
