Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Rockford, IL
Total Compensation: $59,900 - $85,800

We’re looking for an Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a team that supports world-class manufacturing and groundbreaking technology development. What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot and maintain boilers, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, and building electrical systems (AC & DC).
• Repair and oversee facility equipment, coordinating with subcontractors as needed.
• Use your expertise to troubleshoot equipment problems with tools like multi-meters and hand tools.
• Drive forklifts, operate overhead cranes, scissor lifts, and boom lifts to get the job done.
• Inspect heating systems, air-conditioning units, and air compressors for signs of defects or malfunction.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Proficiency with 480V electric systems and 250V DC.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with facility systems.
• Ability to work safely at heights using required safety equipment.
• Attitude: Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in company-sponsored training.
