POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for researching, updating, and maintaining potential, and current, Maine Pointe clients and contacts, via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Responsible for providing contact identification support across the entire Business Development Team. Will need to operate, and problem solve independently, utilize both strategic and execution-oriented thinking.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Maine Pointe services, solutions, customers and industries.
  2. Use Maine Pointe provided applications and public data to identify key contacts and financial information at prospect companies.
  3. Work with the existing Maine Pointe Business Development team to refine requirements and priorities for maintenance and research.
  4. Provide assistance to Business Development team in resolving incorrect, or bounced, contact information.
  5. Ensure account records in CRM are maintained accurately, included key personnel, sales history, future opportunities and competitive information
  6. Create documents at the request of the Industry Leader or other members of the Sales Team
  7. Special Business Development related projects as needed

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field of study.
  • Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
  • Experience doing advanced web searches using Google and other public data sources.
  • Experience with Sales and Marketing concepts
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, etc. (Dynamics 365 experience preferred)
  • Experience working with LinkedIn, and specifically LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Attention to detail and good written and verbal communications skills.

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Able to work independently as well as collaborating with a team.
  • Ability to solve thing creatively and solve complex business issues
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

  • No direct reports

 

OTHER COMMENTS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to work effectively within a remote workforce
