About the Position:

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team in a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, and as part of the HR Team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for contributing to the success of the overall company recruitment strategy and is accountable for delivering recruitment and selection services, managing relationships with external agencies, and providing advice and guidance to hiring managers to meet staffing objectives. This role will be solely focused on looking for the best talent in our Industry to help continue to support RWDI in its growth around the globe.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Execute and deliver on finding and hiring the brightest talent, best fit for the organization.
  • Design and implement forward-thinking talent attraction strategies, leveraging market intelligence, employer branding, and digital sourcing innovation to target critical talent segments.
  • Develop and review recruitment analytics to identify best practices and areas of improvement that will result in improved outcomes.
  • Build integrated sourcing strategies to help increase the quality of candidates and expand the reach of talent searches.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to align recruitment activities to RWDI’s business needs.
  • Develop and implement innovative candidate assessment methods that increase the accuracy of hiring selections.
  • Create and foster relationships with diverse professional organizations and networks to attract, recruit and build talent and referral networks.
  • Manage social media talent acquisition initiatives to target top talent, as well as enhance RWDI’s employment brand and awareness
  • Ensure a seamless, engaging, and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with local labour laws and company policies while promoting equitable and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR to forecast hiring needs and support strategic workforce planning initiatives.

 

We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:

  • University degree in Human Resources or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a Talent Acquisition role;
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and social media platforms
  • High degree of proficiency in all MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and client relationships
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to exercise sound independent judgment.
  • A proven track record of hiring key talent in the AEC industry and/or in Software Engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation.
