Help us shape the future of telecoms as a Full Stack Web Developer

We’re looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to join one of our Agile development teams creating enterprise telephony systems and business applications. You will have the opportunity to contribute towards the design and development of brand-new products and services for our new market-leading product, the HiHi business phone system. Working with business requirements determined by the Product Owner, as part of a team you will have the creative freedom to interpret those requirements into the most appropriate technical solutions with security, reliability and usability as the forefront.

What would I be doing?

  • Develop new user-facing features.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.
  • Integration and Development of Enterprise API’s.

And what do I need?

  • Proficient with NET Core 2.
  • Strong front end development skills typically consisting of HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery, XML and JSON.
  • TDD using xUnit or NUnit and practical use of Dependency Injection
  • Experience in delivering RESTful API systems and integrating with third party API’s
  • Working in an Agile environment
  • Plus, proficient in at least two of the following frameworks and Languages: - AngularJS/ReactJS/Database (SQL or MongoDB and BI development/Node.JS/ Java/C# or Python.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills working within a team
  • Distributed Source Control systems like Git or SVN
  • It would be beneficial if you have experience with any of the following: Azure, Service bus, writing services in different architectures e.g. Microservices, Serverless, Actor Model.

We are within walking distance from Bournemouth train station, bus stops and we offer a free park and ride based in Boscombe with regular shuttles to and from the office (ave. journey time is approx. 5 minutes).
