Position Summary
Join us as a Pet Product and Accessories Designer to create innovative and engaging pet toys and accessories! Your role is to design safe and durable products that delight pets and their owners. With a passion for pet trends, you'll turn ideas into unique creations. If you have experience with licensed products, you can also incorporate iconic brands and characters into your designs, making them appealing to pet lovers everywhere!
Qualifications & Hard Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Fashion, Product, Toy Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2-3 years of experience in toy or product design, preferably in the pet industry.
Strong skills in sketching, prototyping, and design; proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D modeling tools.
Knowledge of print and pattern development, fabric/material choices, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with B2B clients and U.S.-based companies; professional-level English proficiency.
Expertise in plush toy construction, safety standards, and understanding of toy safety regulations and pet behavior.
Licensing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Design plush pet toys, clothing, and accessories with engaging prints.
Create detailed 2D and 3D sketches to convey concepts.
Recommend durable and safe materials.
Collaborate with product development teams for manufacturability.
Research market trends and safety standards for inspiration.
Ensure designs meet industry safety requirements.
Update designs based on customer feedback.
Work with marketing on product descriptions and packaging.
Align designs with brand guidelines through licensing agreements.

Microsoft Workspace: Outlook, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive.
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel.
Hubstaff: Web and Desktop Apps, Hubstaff Tasks.
Teams: Meetings, Categories and Channels.
