Position Summary: Are you a creative and dynamic podcast host ready to take your skills to the next level? We are looking for an experienced and passionate Podcast Host to join our growing team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your talent in hosting captivating episodes, building audience engagement, and developing innovative strategies to grow both our reach and revenue. If you have a proven background in podcasting and an entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the perfect fit for you! 

 

 

Qualifications & Hard Skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.  

  • Proven experience in hosting or co-hosting podcasts, radio shows, or other audio content.  

  • Skilled in audio content creation, editing, and production.  

  • Solid experience in conducting interviews and facilitating engaging discussions with guests.  
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with YouTube monetization and video content creation.  
  • Strong marketing background, including expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, and audience growth. 
  • Experience with podcast hosting platforms (Captivate, Riverside, etc.). 
  • Understanding of SEO principles and social media marketing tactics. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly. 
  • Proven ability to conduct insightful and engaging interviews, building rapport and creating compelling content. 

 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with the team to develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of episodes and content. 

  • Oversee YouTube uploads, including writing descriptions and optimizing video content for maximum visibility and engagement. 

  • Plan, strategize, and execute podcast content, including selecting topics, guest speakers, and structuring episodes for maximum impact. 

  • Develop and implement monetization strategies for both the podcast and YouTube channels to drive audience growth and revenue. 

  • Supervise the post-production process for podcasts, ensuring high-quality audio and content before publication. 

  • Co-host the podcast by actively contributing to discussions, interviewing guests, and engaging with our community. 

 

Main Tools to manage for this position 

  • Microsoft Workspace: Outlook, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive.  
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel.  

  • Hubstaff: Web and Desktop Apps, Hubstaff Tasks.  

  • Teams: Meetings, Categories and Channels. 

  • Adobe Audition or Audacity proficiency.
