Job Summary

Job Description

  • Provide advanced technical support within one or more project teams simultaneously.
  • Apply a broad range of analytical and technical tools within a primary technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, QA, V&V), with a strong focus on Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) and Verification and Validation (V&V).
  • Function effectively in a secondary technical discipline to enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proactively seek assignments, identify a broad range of tasks, and occasionally take a lead role in selected technical activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical problems using strong analytical skills, including the application of Instron testing.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, understand task priorities, and plan daily activities accordingly.
  • Develop creative solutions to complex problems while ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Provide guidance to designers and technicians, which may include training, mentoring, or coaching.
  • Collaborate with a broad group of cross-functional staff.
  • Provide input and participate, as needed, in recruiting and team selection
  • Support testing activities from concept through V&V and beyond, as required.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of designing/drafting experience — Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical problems.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, plan daily activities, and meet priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively with supervisors, engineers, designers/technicians, vendors, and suppliers
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills within a primary technical discipline.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in applying technical tools and methodologies related to testing and validation.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to develop creative and compliant solutions to technical challenges.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or 2-year trade/military school

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
  • Work schedule: 02:00 PM

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $29.44 to $37.44 per hour based on qualifications.
