Job Summary

We are looking for a diligent Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are manufactured within specified quality standards. You will work closely with all plant personnel, including supervisors, maintenance staff, operators, and other QA team members, as well as interacting routinely with process engineers and supply chain.

 

Job Description

  • Perform physical testing and inspect incoming samples and raw materials to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Communicate quality issues effectively with various departments to facilitate prompt resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to quality assurance functions, including SAP transactions.
  • Prepare and test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods, following written instructions to confirm compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience in a laboratory setting is essential, with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members across different departments.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

 

Education/Certification/Training

  • College experience in Chemistry or a related science field is preferred.

 

 Pay Rate

  • $21 per hour
