Job Summary

This role Provides on-site equipment service for a portfolio of radiology equipment, including preventive maintenance, emergency service, and installation support. The role is responsible for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction while supporting business objectives and is expected to develop and apply sales-related skills as part of the position.

 

Job Description

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at customer sites using approved procedures and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair technically complex equipment using available resources and technical knowledge.
  • Organize daily work schedules and coordinate with territory teammates to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain mobile inventory, including organizing, reordering, and returning defective or used inventory for refurbishment or replenishment.
  • Promote service programs and billable services to generate service revenue.
  • Collaborate with inside sales teammates to prepare service quotes and support sales completion.
  • Communicate with end-user customers, purchasing agents, and asset managers to support sales activities.
  • Identify and communicate sales leads for new products or equipment upgrades to appropriate sales representatives.
  • Complete work orders accurately to ensure proper customer billing in alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain company work vehicle, calibration tools, special equipment, and assigned inventory.
  • Safeguard all proprietary information, including service and training manuals, diagnostic and calibration software, access keys, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Associate degree preferred in electronics, mechanical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, IT networking, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent military training in electronics, aviation, IT, or computer science with a minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience may be substituted.
  • High school diploma or GED with relevant training or certifications and a minimum of three (3) years of applicable experience may be substituted.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Work Schedule: 8:00 AM
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting and/or a customer-facing service role strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in operational verification, preventive maintenance, and repair of technical equipment.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory up to 70%, including local, regional, overnight, and extended travel as required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 operation.
  • Physical ability to lift and/or push over 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Must possess a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $51.90 to $59.90 per hour based on qualifications.
