Job Summary

The Technology Quality Technician is responsible for performing quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and reporting of results. This role requires a combination of hands-on technical skills and an understanding of quality management systems, with a focus on how nonconformances impact equipment and system performance.

 

Job Description

  • Inspect documentation, parts, components, materials, subassemblies, and equipment against established specifications using calibrated measurement systems.
  • Follow standard inspection procedures and ensure repeatability and accuracy of measurements.
  • Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in the design, setup, and execution of test fixtures and processes.
  • Ensure all inspection and testing activities are conducted safely.
  • Participate in hazard analysis and risk control development and reviews.
  • Perform calibration of measurement systems when authorized.
  • Review and provide feedback on inspection procedures, test plans, and standard work to support continuous improvement.
  • Accurately document inspection and test results and monitor consistency over time.
  • Apply manufacturing system tools and principles to improve processes and efficiency.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in quality inspection is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required for documentation and reporting, including:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP (preferred)
  • Mechanical lifting experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical design drawings is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Technical Secondary School

 

Pay Rate

  • $24 - $26 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)

 

Additional Requirements

  • Schedule: 1st shift (4:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
  • 10 hours per day Monday to Thursday
  • Overtime and weekends worked as needed.
