Our client is an electrical contractor that provides services in San Antonio and the surrounding areas.

 

Job Summary

We are looking for a Electrical Apprentice/Laborer. They are developing tradespeople who provide essential jobsite support while building the foundational skills needed to become a licensed electrician, assisting with installations, handling materials, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment under the guidance of experienced electricians.

 

Job Description

  • Assist with installation of conduit, wiring, and electrical equipment
  • Carry, organize, and stage materials, tools, and equipment
  • Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, drilling, and pulling wire
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow instructions from journeymen and foremen
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and job site rules
  • Participate in training and develop trade skills over time

 

Skills Required

  • Basic understanding of electrical tools, materials, and job site practices
  • Ability to assist with conduit, wiring, and equipment installation
  • Strong physical ability to carry, stage, and organize materials and equipment
  • Willingness to learn and develop electrical trade skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Degree or Equivalent

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check 

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
