Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Center IT Computer Operator to support global IT infrastructure operations within a 24x7 environment. This role is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining enterprise computer systems and batch processes across a worldwide organization.

 

Job Description

  • Monitor and control enterprise systems and batch operations across global infrastructure.
  • Manage workload balancing and system performance adjustments based on project requirements and operational priorities.
  • Monitor Omega OCM / Cloud software and other in-house software platforms.
  • Track system alerts and operational issues to maintain system uptime and reliability.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve system alerts and operational issues.
  • Provide support for internal and global users utilizing Omega systems.
  • Engage with internal teams, external vendors, and support groups to resolve infrastructure incidents.
  • Maintain detailed operational logs and reports for system performance and incidents.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for operational continuity.
  • Assist with system performance tracking and operational reporting.
  • Operate and maintain enterprise platforms across Linux and Windows environments.
  • Support internal peripheral systems and integrated software components used within the organization.
  • Assist with maintaining data center operational processes and procedures.
  • Shift: 1st 6:15am - 2pm

Skills Required

  • Minimum 6 months of related IT operations, technical support, or computer operations experience, or equivalent technical education.
  • Linux (advanced command-line knowledge)
  • Windows operating systems
  • Strong familiarity with command-line operations, scripts, and system monitoring tools
  • Experience working with enterprise batch processes and system monitoring platforms
  • Basic understanding of cloud or enterprise system monitoring tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving (hardware and software)
  • Reporting and documentation
  • Productivity and task management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

 

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required

 

Pay Rate

  • $26 per hour (Compensation will be offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
