Job Summary

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager Professional.

 

Job Description

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction project from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
  • Oversees company’s construction site, general contractors to ensure a high level of quality and safety
  • Review and Approve Safe Work Permits
  • Hold a Production Meeting Daily, Coordinate site activities with Prime Contractor's Site Superintendent
  • Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
  • Ensure quality workmanship and quality inspections are conducted. Retain and maintain a file of test and inspection reports
  • Identify, mitigate, and track construction issues
  • Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements
  • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and that tools and equipment are in good working condition
  • Maintain and update SOW and construction documents, and meet contract obligations by developing relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
  • Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions
  • Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities/agencies
  • Conduct Pre-Start up inspections and maintain Pre-Start-up Checklists
  • Reports the status of projects to Management

 

Skills Required

  • Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Construction, including utilities (pipeline experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
  • Knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods
  • 5+ years of industrial construction experience required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Construction, including utilities (pipeline experience a plus)

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Construction Safety Practices and OSHA regulations (30 Hour OSHA Training)
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering or related field

 

Additional Requirements

  • More than 5 years of civil construction experience,
  • Must be able to ready P&IDs, construction drawings, BOM. 
  • Oil and Gas experience is a plus.

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Starting at $100.00/hr and more depending on experience
