Job Summary

The Materials Handler supports manufacturing operations by ensuring the efficient movement, issuance, and transfer of materials throughout the production process. This role works closely with production, planning, and assembly teams to maintain workflow continuity and inventory accuracy, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing system.

Job Description

• Move materials from machines and workstations as part of the production process
• Issue and transfer parts to support ongoing production needs
  
• Assist the Production Planner and assembly stores as required
  
• Maintain accurate material flow and inventory handling practices
  
• Apply manufacturing system tools and guiding principles to support continuous improvement efforts
  
• Support cross-functional teams in production, supply chain, and procurement activities
• Shift: M-F 8AM - 5PM

Skills Required

• Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or supply chain environments preferred
• Electronics manufacturing experience is a plus

• Basic computer literacy required
  
• Experience with SAP (preferred)
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred)
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Effective communication skills in English

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred for Planner/Expeditor career progression)
• Technical background (preferred but not required)

Pay Rate

• $19.33 - $21.59 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
