Job Summary

This role provides customers with on-site equipment service for a portfolio of radiology equipment, including preventive maintenance, emergency service, and installation support. The role is responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while achieving radiology business objectives and demonstrates willingness to acquire and use sales skills.

 

Job Description

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at end-user customer sites using approved procedures and documentation.
  • Utilize available resources and technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair technically complex equipment.
  • Organize daily work schedules and coordinate with territory teammates to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain mobile inventory by organizing and reordering as needed to maximize equipment uptime while minimizing repeat visits; ensure proper return of defective or used inventory for refurbishment or replenishment.
  • Generate service revenue through promotion of service programs and billable services; collaborate with Territory Service Inside Sales to prepare service quotes and follow sales through to completion.
  • Communicate with end-user customers, purchasing agents, and asset managers to support sales finalization.
  • Generate sales leads and communicate opportunities to sales representatives for new products or upgrades.
  • Complete work orders accurately to ensure customer billing aligns with company policies.
  • Maintain company work vehicles, assigned calibration tools, special equipment, and stock inventory.
  • Safeguard all proprietary information, including service and training manuals, diagnostic and calibration software, access keys, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, and related tools.

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Associate’s degree preferred in electronics, mechanical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, IT networking, computer science, or related discipline
  • Equivalent military training in electronics, aviation, IT, or computer science with at least 2 years of applicable experience
  • High school diploma or GED with relevant training or certifications and at least 3 years of applicable experience

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
  • Work schedule is 8:00 AM
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting and/or customer-facing service role is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated competency in operational verification, preventive maintenance, and repair service
  • Ability to travel up to 70% within assigned territory, including regional travel and overnight stays
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours as required for a 24/7 schedule
  • Physical ability to lift or push over 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling, crawling, sitting, and standing
  • Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $51.90 to $59.90 per hour based on qualifications.
