Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Operator to join our logistics and materials handling team. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, handling, and shipping of pharmaceutical materials.
Job Description
- Prepare finished product for shipment, including: Pulling and matching outgoing orders, Inspecting and labeling finished drums, Recording seal numbers, Preparing shipping documentation
- Receive incoming raw materials: Unloading drums, Labeling and verifying items, Inspecting materials per SOPs, Entering receipts into Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP)
- Operates lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping/receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Label and organize raw material inventory accurately
- Perform transactions using scan guns to ensure inventory accuracy
- Operate within the site’s ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WHMS)
- Handle and ship Controlled Substances per DEA regulations
- Prepare and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials properly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment
- Process incoming and outgoing small parcel packages (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS)
- May be required to offload tanker-delivered raw materials with minimal supervision
- Follow all job instructions and perform tasks in compliance with SOPs and safety protocols
- Operating lift truck, forklift, pallet jack, etc
Skills Required
- Prior warehouse experience
- Prior Forklift experience
- Computer literacy required; experience with ERP or inventory systems a plus
- Reliable transportation to the facility
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical exam including lift test
- Adherence to safety and compliance regulations, including handling of controlled and hazardous substances
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Pay Rate
Additional requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and carry packaging components and supplies
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable using manual pallet jacks and handling large drums
