Job Summary
We are currently seeking experienced Account Managers to support the Pacific Sales team in the Chemical Technologies division. Job Description
- Collaborate with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and propose continuous improvement and innovation plans
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including facility and plant leadership
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory growth and profitability goals
- Analyze systems, interpret operational data, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize customer performance
- Promote and support cutting-edge technologies and solutions within assigned customer accounts
- Plan and lead customer-facing activities including training sessions, seminars, and events
- Maintain awareness of account health, profitability, and growth opportunities
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and understanding of job-specific applications
- Familiarity with deepwater operations is a strong plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications
- Strong communication, time management, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Self-driven, adaptable, ethical, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment
- Up to 50% overnight travel required to fully support territory and customer needs
Skills Required
- At least 4 years of successful technical or field sales experience, preferably in both onshore and offshore environments
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales or field support, ideally in offshore oil and gas production chemicals is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided)
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 lbs. to chest height
- This is a safety-sensitive role and may be subject to customer or employer drug testing
- Ability to travel within assigned territory and offshore platforms as needed
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) is preferred
Salary
- $85,000 and higher base salary plus sales incentive bonus, depending on experience
