Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled
Machine Operator to join a dynamic manufacturing team. You will be responsible for helping provide safe, efficient and reliable product and service delivery to customers, and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery. .

 

Job Description

  • The Machine Operator ensures equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands and maintains shop and field equipment.
  • Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities for a designated location (outside of Technology Lifecycle Management activities).
  • Maintain equipment according to procedures, reporting problems or deviations.
  • Operate equipment according to procedures, competency levels and job requirement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the service delivery process.
  • Participate in failure investigations when relevant.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
  • Operate custom, non-CNC manufacturing machines
  • Assist with assembly work when not actively running machines
  • Handle long pipe materials safely and efficiently

 

Skills Required

  • Machine operation experience: Preferred but not required
    • Equipment is custom; candidates will be trained
  • Strong safety mindset / prior safety-sensitive work environments
    • Reliability and job longevity
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Assembly experience
  • Forklift or combi lift operation
  • Pipe handling experience
  • SAP experience
  • Safety & PPE
  • Strong safety culture is a core expectation
  • PPE provided by SLB, except:
    • Steel-toe boots required on Day 1

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Required: High school diploma or GED

 

Additional requirements

  • Schedule notes: M-TH 2:00pm-12:30am. Trains on 1st shift (4am-2:30pm) 4 to 6 weeks then move to 2nd. OT as needed

 

Pay rate

  • $22 - $24 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
